Fam
I like that my entire family holds conference calls for all major life decisions. I think it’s pretty funny.
We’re each required to provide an opposing viewpoint argument, and then give a final recommendation.
Powerpoint presentations are optional, but recommended.

I don’t know exactly what Corey is doing with us (my team Slambot), but I think it’s working. We had a really open, honest rehearsal yesterday. We all played so comfortably and naturally, and it was really noticeable that we’ve all grown a lot as performers since we started together.
Corey is such a great coach/mentor, and really invested in all of us. My teammates are also...
Joanna Borns is one of the most inventive bakers I know. And that is a high compliment coming from me.
We had white chocolate and lemon cookies at practice tonight. A really impressive combination.
I’m dead serious about this, because dessert is not a joke.

I am really excited about my show, which is not even close to done yet. It takes so much time for it to just get better — not even good, but better — and it’s definitely a lot better now than what I initially wrote.
Anyway. I’m learning sooooo much from Frank and the cast/teammates about how to write a script, produce a show, etc etc.
I am just very grateful for...

In case you’re wondering, in the new Mission Impossible movie, all the signs in the Mumbai scene are in Kannada. Which is the wrong language. (From different state in India.)
If you ever film a scene set in India, please hire an Indian to tell you if it’s accurate. I’m sure the majority of people watching won’t notice, but Indians will.

Sitcom Pilot Screening Tonight →
bridgecomedy:
Hey guys,
I made a sitcom pilot over the summer with a bunch of amazing, talented folks. It’s called Musie, and it’s about these two chicks (one is Mags, the firecracker, played by me, Bridget Fitzgerald, & the other is the straight-laced Susie played by Miss Lauren Hunter). The pair live in New York & have adventures that are told in two halves, each using their half the...

My first non-Indian wedding
I won the bouquet toss. I’ve only ever seen this on TV.
Also, I may have elbowed some people in the face.
Pretty productive for my first church wedding.
Thank god for Shannon O’Neill.
Just, in general. In life.

Bad thing about being awake at weird hours - signing up for things like archery lessons.
Because you never know when you’re going to need to fight someone with a bow and arrow.
I guess I’m performing at the Net IP conference in DC. Tonight! By myself.
We’ll see how it goes! Wish me luck!
If you’re in DC, look for Indians and follow them to my show — 9 pm at the JW Marriott.

Assassins.: THE ROUND COMES TO A CLOSE AS A DEADLY... →
Thanks, Steph. And congrats to Alan.
My level of insanity during Week 7 of Assassins prevented me from crafting a better plan than wandering around aimlessly in front of Alan’s apartment. In broad daylight. In a wig.
I’ve learned a lot over the past few weeks, and I’m glad I played. Also, I’m not sure what possessed me to think that wrestling Alan Starzinski would be a...

I got called the formidable dark horse of assassins. I am a little too proud of this.

MATTHEW DENNIE is dead, a man who I have not seen nor heard from since the round began. I can only assume this was because he has been right behind me the whole time, and my constant, sleepless, adrenaline-soaked circumvention tactics have ultimately payed off.

I feel like I have to say something about this Amy Chua book “Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother,” and the whole Asian parent achievement thing.
No one really talks about the pluses/minuses of how they were raised. It’s (understandably) a touchy subject for all involved. Fact of the matter is, though, that a lot of kids in this country grow up in families with very Asian values,...

This is tonight’s installment of me reaching out to let The Stepfathers know that they mean the world to me, and to ask (who, exactly? …I don’t know) if I could please play with them this Friday. (last night’s installment)

Dream pain into real pain
Was just thinking some really negative thoughts before bed. Just for fun/experiment, I let myself keep thinking them until I fell asleep.
My brain continued the exact story that I thought up and turned it into an intense emotional drama (dream). I got so sad that my stomach started hurting (dream self). Woke up in the middle of the night for no reason…with a stomachache (actual self)....
So, this is weird
A Dallas Cowboy just asked me if he could dunk my head in a bucket of ice water.
I’m gonna go with no.
